2022 C5 of the Year Finalist - Modified

Default I think I Qualify for Stock, See Safety Mods

New Head Lamp and high beam bulbs
New C6 Z06 shocks
New C7 Z06 wheels but I still have wagon wheels!

LET THE BONE STOCK JUDGES RULE.

When I pull in, you never know the difference!

Hmmm...
Lloyds mats on day 1, CAGS defeat and rear lettering fill in within the first week.
But no more mods, appearance or otherwise, for the next 17 years.

Does that count?

Then I broke the streak, resistance is futile...
put in a C6 shifter and RadioFlyers bi-xenons last year.

So much for nearly stock

My wife has had her 02 Vert for 14 years and the only thing she has changed is the wheels and the miles.

I have made no performance upgrade unless you call the MGW shifter a performance upgrade. The car is quite capable out of the box. My upgrades have been appearance and comfort related, but it's only a luxury. Your bone stock vehicle is fabulous.

I doubt anyone has a truly bone stock C5 and has never replaced a belt, pulley, tire, fuse, brake pads, oil & filter, coolant, trans/diff fluid, wiper blades, battery, etc., unless they never drove it. If you mean with an unmodified drive train and suspension, that is a different story.
Mine is stock except for replacing tires, a power steering hose, AC compressor and diffuser, water pump, belts, pulleys, battery, and upgrading to HID lights, LED reverse lights, and installing front and rearview cameras, and the LMC5 with brown wire added. All else is original with 102,000 miles and still going strong.

Default 98 with 9,600 miles-bone stock six speed.

My 98 black coupe with six speed and light oak interior is bone stock. Still has new car smell and runs great. Has 4 new run flats.

02 Z, 22K in the Odometer. As you can see I changed the wheels, however the Originals are sitting on the shelf with about 800 miles on the tires.

It came with HRE wheels. I added a Borla exhaust and x-pipe. And after the Bose stereo broke, I bought an Alpine. But everything else is stock.

03, bought it with 6k on the odo 2 yrs ago and just rolled 8. Only mods are LCM5 and skip shift delete. I think someone may have swapped the battery for a new delco, but it's OEM.

Owned my 2000 Coupe for almost 14 years. Mostly stock, has DBA slotted rotors with Hawk pads, B&M Ripper, Ti exhaust and a K&N Air filter. That is it, 141K and still runs great. I have had my 2004 Z06 CE for nearly 6 years, only changes are DBA rotors/Hawk pads, Ripper, K&N air filter, Corsa Sport and X pipe, Euro tail ights and an Alpine Head unit.

My car is stock from a performance aspect. However, I am slowly "modding" the appearance of the car to make it my own and also look a little meaner. The car is plenty fast stock for me to have impounded so spending $$$ on performance isn't for me especially when the only track in the area charges $300 for track days.

The only modifications I've made are quality-of-life improvements. Such as converting from the 97-00 TPMS/Fob receiver to the 01-04 in order to use cheaper fobs and TPMS sensors. And installing the LMC5 module to get rid of the pesky "Service Column Lock" message in the DIC.

These cars are fantastic daily drivers (and weekend rippers) just they way they are.

Enjoy the experience of a well put together platform.
