When I bought my 2003 last year the only change that had been made to it was a Borla exhaust. Other than that she is bone stock.

As others on the forum have stated, the C5 is a great platform for personalization for many reason.

I have left the drivetrain stock. Have some bolt ons including a Vararam cai, xpipe and corsa sport exhaust and a tune. All easily put back to
Stock.

Installed a complete audio system which would stay with the car should I decide to sell someday

Also have a front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser. Again all easily removed if needed.

Future plans include seat covers and maybe headers some day.

My 2001 is totally stock. Things have been replaced, (sway bars, bushings) but it's all OEM including disc changer in the trunk, NEVER used. Why meddle with perfection??

My last car was a 2003 Anniversary Edition and I had it totally stock, granted it only had 10k miles when it was totaled a few years ago. I ended up buying a 2001 that had very low miles and with winter coming I got a really great deal too. This car is like the who's who of add-on's! I think the previous owner went page by page and ordered everything you can imagine for the car. Every body opening has a grille in it, even the rear bumper openings. I swear the car is covered in that clear plastic coating; mirrors, front bumper, rockers and rear fender before and after the wheel. Matching red mudflaps, laser cut letters in black for the rear bumper. The interior had touches of red added to the handles etc. to go with the red exterior. Letters and C5 logos everywhere. Trunk pad with logo, louvers on the tail lights and license plate surround. The engine has LS-1 labels, chrome caps, battery cover and Corsa exhaust. It even has the laser cut billet trim added around and in the C5 flags on the front and rear. That actually impressed me with how accurate it is but I still want it off! I'm afraid to heat it up so I can take them off as it may ruin the clear bra. I'm slowly getting it closer to stock but might be leaving some of the extras.

Nothing wrong with "bone stock"

Mine is pretty much stock other than MCM S/C high rise hood, Z06 polished wheels, Z06 titanium exhaust, abs of steel tunnel plate, Z51 sway bars, Halo tail lights, custom trunk partition, Blackwing air filter, powerbond balancer, Z06 front screens, cut opened fog light housings, painted red calipers......other than that...all stock

Mine's not stock. I don't use genuine GM parts on any of my modifications, nor would I, having much better stuff available aftermarket. These cars are not worth that much, either way. Using the "it's worth more if original" excuse is only because they can't turn a wrench, because, obviously, it isn't. I suppose if I'd have paid someone else to do my modifications, I wouldn't care, but I don't care for some DDb*g calling it "molested".

'03 Coupe I got last year as 3rd owner. Corsa exhaust was added when the car was bought in 03. I change out the radio this spring. Other than that, added from 109,425 miles at purchase to 121,100 miles yesterday.

When I get pissed off at the quality of my Vette I remind myself this is a GM sports car with a TON of cost cutting.

Car is now 450hp NA with a MGW shifter, lightweight 19/18 wheels, full soundproofing/dynamat, Alpine stereo and modern LED lights all around. If this car was stock I wouldn't want it. Most of the mods are from the previous owner too so I'm only in it 14k.

Default no mas, no mods

Pleased with my stock 98 performance.
Only replaced bad compressor, water pump.
Changed runflats for Michelin A/S 3 front and back for an ultra quiet ride and added Alpine head unit/ speakers and Clear Option (fold away) cup holders. Going to tackle sound deadening but that's about it.

Recently picked up a pristine C5 Z06, completely stock torch red with mod red interior. There is only one item that isn't, the rear bumper. Apparently, the original owner had a minor fender bender to the point he had it painted black. However, the entire car is stock.

My plan is to autocross the car every now and then so I'm looking to add different wheels (18x10.5 at all corners w/315 BFG Rival S tires). We'll see though.
