stock interior bulbs (not leds)
I have had a number of interior bulbs blow out over time on my c5, with some of the HVAC and DIC buttons not lighting up at night.
There are plently of threads on LED swaps, however I want to retain the dimming feature and 'stock' look of the incandescent bulbs that came from the factory.
I managed to find some incandescent replacements on ebay for the HVAC unit and soldiered them on, which looks good.
Problem is with the DIC, door buttons and TCS button lights - you can buy generic NEO Wedge T3 and T4 bulbs that will fit in, but they are not the same colour as the ones from the factory. The factory ones are incandescents with a rubber blue covering on them.
Does anyone know a part number for these bulbs? I think I found one in the parts catelog under GM #12533422 but i'm not sure if that's the T3 or T4 size. They also seem pretty damn expensive if I am to replace all of them.
Or am I wasting my time? shall I just put LEDs in and be done with it?
