[QUOTyouE=Vetteman Jack;1597392624]For the sensors to work, the car has to be in motion. Take it out for a spin and see if the readings appear.[/QUOTE]

Also what cold tire pressure do you run? These were 36-37 cold. On the car is says 30psi

TP should be 30 psi. But check it with a decent gauge.

Not to hijack the thread but I bought these and cant seem to get them to work.

I tried the magnet method and also to it to a shop where they had the gm tool, but still no tire pressure readings.

Did you get the horn beep at every corner? Did you take it for a drive after you got the beeps?

I have no beeps or chirps. Drove it home from the shop about 5 miles this am. My horn doesn't work from the steering wheel but will chirp when you hold down 2 buttons on the keyfob. Horn will also work when alarm is activated. (service column lock warning?)

Since 2000 is the last year for the old sensors, it's possible that he needs the new sensors. I had the opposite problem with my car - I ordered the ARP headbolt kit for a 2004 C5, which is the new style short bolts. Turns out my car has the old LS1 block that requires the longer (and more expensive) headbolts. Possibly same type of problem here? Any way to find out without having to buy another set of tire sensors?

I think I need to clear the old tpms codes since I had a LF bad. Other 3 original still worked since new. Will follow up.
