New exterior driverside A pillar trim installed
Finally got around to having a new outer door trim piece installed on my 2003 Z06. I should have done it sooner because I noticed it each time I got in the car. Corvette World in Dallas did the work and big shout out to Ethan for making my Z "whole" again. If anyone is needing any kind of service on their Vette in the DFW area I highly recommend them.
GM Part number# 10331563
The floor picture with the mangled up trim piece shows how bad the workmanship of the windshield replacement really was. Come to find out they had pried the trim piece, incorrectly installed screws, installed a couple of incorrect screws, and used gobs of glue.
I swear it's the little things that make all the difference when it comes to cars.

Looks like they did an excellent job on your car.

Looks great. I need to replace the very same trim on my car as well on both sides for a crack in the upper section pretty much where your crack was.
I was was hoping to see a diy or install instruction thread for these lol. Darn. But looks good though

You're right - it's the little things that can help a car look cared for or ignored. Yours looks much better and well cared for! Thanks for the pics.

I'm surprised these are still available. I'm used to the import world where the manufacturers don't make jack more than a few years and as your car starts to age you're SOL on moldings/weatherstripping/etc. Too bad these look to be $200 a pop.
I've noticed recently on mine that they're cracked on both sides. I had always noticed it since I bought the car in December and must have just subconsciously thought to myself that it's a multi-piece part. I honestly only noticed the other day that they're actually both cracked. I figure it must be from people putting their hands out onto the roof area to "pull" themselves out of the cabin when they're getting out of the car.
I too am from Dallas (with a yellow Z06 at that) and am curious what kind of total price Corvette World charged on this.

You guys might be able to source the part much cheaper online. Cost for the trim was $260(friendly Chevrolet) and I believe labor on this calls for one hour so that's an extra $120. With that being said they did some work for me previously so they only charged me $85 on labor.
