Hood Removal
Going to put aftermarket hood on my 1997. Struts easy to remove as well as top bolt on hinge. However, bottom bolts are extremely hard to turn. I fear I may brake something in the hood trying to remove as it is really hard to turn constantly. Is this normal as the top I just loosened with one turn and then hand screwed out.

since you removed the top bolt completely the hood probably shifted when you started to loosen the bottom one and now it's putting pressure on that bolt as you try to remove it... get someone to pull up on the hood to relieve the pressure as you are loosening the bolt
