Well, I was able to get the fascia on and completely bolted in place over the weekend , and it fits very good.
I've never put a body panel on a car before, but
E.T. was right, it's really just nuts and bolts, and a little drilling and dremeling.
Fortunately we've had above normal temperatures since last weeks polar vortex, and that really helped, and it's supposed to be warm thru the rest of this week as well.
Dropped it off at a body shop today and they told me it will be ready by Saturday.
I asked if it could be just scuffed and re-shot and the guy said he could, but he wouldn't be able to stand behind it unless he strips it all the way down and starts from scratch, so I told him to do it right.
I'm really getting excited to finally get this on the car! I hated to have to take it back off.
Of course pictures will be posted when it's completed.

I'd love to see one of these on a standard body (not flared). My rear bumper is toast and needs a repaint, and it's worth considering getting one of these and painting it, if it doesn't look strange on a standard body.

OK guys, after almost a year of delays, I finally have this badass bumper installed on my car. It has been a journey with many frustrations, but it was worth it! This completes the aero look that I envisioned for my car. I think the curves flow very well from front to back.
The fitment and gaps are as good as OEM, IMHO, but as I stated a few posts earlier, these things really need to be in a warm climate when working with them. If it gets out of shape and cools, it's a PITA working with it in a cool garage. A lot of time spent with the heat gun getting it to move back into place.
I have never hung a panel on a car in my life and I can honestly say this wasn't that bad. It just takes a little time to get everything positioned properly. Once I decided to do it myself, with a little encouragement from E.T. (thank you buddy), I honestly enjoyed it, aside from the health issues I've been dealing with and working through the pain.
Thanks also to MaxxZ06 and Leadfoot4 for sharing some good info and experiences, and to Pete (QuikZ06) for making these. It is everything I thought it would be, and I love it!
So, without further ado.......

When I get some extra cash, haha would love to install one on my ride. See if you like what I did to mine or if you pick up on it. Sorry the pics aren’t great.

I'm still waiting for some warm weather. Working in a 25-30* garage doesn't hold the same attraction that it used to, Corvette or not...….

Me too Pete, thank you. It was worth it! I can't remember when you first posted the thread "Gauging Interest" off the top of my head, but I think it's been right at 2 years now. I have been wanting this on my car since that day.
