Is it considered to be a thread hijack if you just ask the moderators why they would choose any bone stock C5 to be nominated?

Why wouldn't it be ok to nominate a bone stock car?
It is a Corvette.
You will notice when the contest started, the thread stated , "Post a picture of your C5 Corvette".
It said nothing about only including those which are not stock.
Some of us don't happen to like all that add on crap, like aftermarket exhaust, body kits, stripes, special hoods etc.

Bob.

I agree. I don't see why a car would have to be modded in order to be considered...

A car that appears to be bone stock from one angle without the hood popped does not equal bone stock. My silver coupe pictured above looks bone stock which it is far from. Im just not into all the visual stick on look. Im not assuming any of the cars shown are bone stock cause they have stock wheels or heavily modified cause it has a spoiler and some fancy lights.

Just my .02
