Happy Birthday/Happy Anniversary
So.........our C5 is 20 years old today! Production build date is August 21, 1998.
Coincidentally, my wife and I were married 48 years ago today! August 21, 1970. I'd only been home from Viet Nam for a few weeks so she took care of all the plans; all I had to do was show up at the proper place at the proper time

Happy Birthday to a great car. AND a very Happy Anniversary. 48 years of marriage is a great thing this day and age. Before long.....it's the Golden one.

Congrats on both counts. Your marriage of 48 years is impressive and your car looks great at 20.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts!
1999corvettels1 - yeah, I think our cars have to be cousins.
Did want to take wifey out for dinner last night but her 91 year old mother spent the night with us. Her high blood pressure is giving her some problems and she was afraid to stay by herself. So we got to share our cards and gifts at 11pm after mom went to bed.
At least we had a great dinner cruise on Lake Norman Sunday night.

Exactly^^^^, and congratulations!!!!
It'll be 49 years for us next week. I bought my first Vette shortly after we got married in August 69, and they (Vettes) have been part of our lives most of that time. I left the army in 68.
