Default Vote - Corvette of the Year

Hello fellow C5ers.
In case, like me, you have not noticed earlier, the Corvette of the Year competition is going on at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...hp?f=103&a=405.
If you haven't voted already, you may want to consider supporting our C5 of the Year, tbrent. Out of several great contenders, his car was selected as an excellent representation of why we like our C5s!
Best wishes in the competition, Taryn!

Gorgeous C5! Got my vote - very hard too because I am a sucker for split windows.

I hear you on that one?! Remember the C2 in “Con-Air”?! “AZZKIKR”. Wanted one of those ever since! And I’m an Arnold fan so the C1 in the competition takes me back to the test drive in “True Lies”... We have some down time at the fire station so everything seems to be a movie reference

Really appreciate the love though everyone. Pretty cool

Funny story there. I was at my body/mechanics shop in 2015 and they had that very car from the movie there working on it. They were kind (or stupid) enough to leave me alone with it for a few minutes. That's a very cool car for sure. Didn't mean to hi-jack your thread but I had to post the pics.

Can’t accept your apology. If nothing else I’m glad I posted just because it got you to share what had to be an awesome experience! I can’t even imagine but you know I don’t mind you posting this gift considering I remembered the exact license plate! Lol. The pic I like the most is the keys in the seat. I chuckled when I saw that because I know you HAD to atleast thought, “do they want me to knock the cobwebs out?!” Love that car! Thank you for sharing this

Most welcome, it will always be a cherished memory for me to have sat in that car. I did in fact think about just starting it up....They most likely would have been running out to make sure I wasn't leaving with it....lol

I understand the earlier generations are almost always going to pull lots of the votes, but I don't see anything special about the C4 that's ahead of tbrent!!

I also see where some members have made comments about voting again, or voting multiple times, but every time I click on the link it says I've already voted and doesn't give me a chance to vote again. How are some members voting more than once?

Here’s the link if you want to vote and have not already: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/announcement.php?f=103&a=405

By the way, mstromquist, thanks for the story and photos about this C2!

You are only allowed to vote once. The only way they can vote twice is if they have multiple user IDs, which is against forum rules. Let's hope this is not the case.

Thanks for clarifying, Jack!
Thought one vote each would/should be the case.
