Default Phx repair shop recommendations other than Cordes

Looking for some phx repair shop recommendations. Was recommended previously to Cordes Performance but they couldn’t help me out. Joe said I would hear back from someone in 48 hours about setting up an appointment. Never heard from anyone. Contacted them again and finally heard back and they said they are booked for a month. Any other recommendations out there? Thank you.

There's a shop out in Tempe that does LS work. Can't remember the name. I used to take my Camaro out there back in the day. I'll do some thinking and post back.

Thanks. Looks like a lot of shops don’t want to work on these older cars.

Top Gear Motorsports. Mesa, not Tempe. It's been a long time since I've been there and I didn't take my Corvette there just my Camaro so keep that in mind. Also, they have a new location different than where they were before.

Edit: Yep, same guy Sean. I think he's the owner. Good dude.

Thanks. I think the forum needs alternatives to Cordes.

Try Classic Gold Auto Center in Tempe west of the 101 and North of University Dr. I take mine there whenever I have something I can't do or don't want to do. Good people and family owned. They work on anything pretty much mechanical, electrical and paint. 480-967-2521, tell em GRAPE sent ya if you go, they know me well. Joe is the main guy and you also might talk to the receptionist Gerri if you call. They get people in pretty quick most of the time.

Auto Mobile Detectives out here in Fountain Hills- they've worked on 5 of my Corvettes as well as our family cars for the past 12 years.

Shoot straight up 87 (the Beeline Highway) west on Shea, right on Saguaro -- just about a mile-buildings are white with blue roof trim.

They do just about everything, but I wouldn't consider them a "performance shop"- but good honest people that take good care of their Corvette customers.

Ask for Cliff, Kirk or Casey - -tell `em I sent ya.

Replaced fuel pump and added a Varam Cold Air Intake system on my 02 C5 over the summer and after would not idle right after that so I took it over to Speed Sports Mobile for a tune and O2 sensor change out . Was happy with their service . They are on Pasadena St. in Gilbert

Facebook has several groups. Better than any forum.

There is Arizona Corvette Owners and Arizona Corvette Enthusiasts (ACE)
