Airaid filter and water
I need to travel to my mechanic tomorrow and I'm worried my airaid filter may suck in some water, since the forcast is for rain all day. Anyone out there have this issue, I put weather stripping where the hood and nose meet but what about the openings in the front . It's a z06.

Does it have a stock intake?
I daily drive my 03Z06 rain or shine. I've never had a water type problem. My intake is stock with a K&N filter.
I wouldn't worry in the least.

Driving through normal rain should not affect the car. I would certainly avoid any deep standing water if that is on the road.

I drive my Z to work every day, rain or shine with an open K&N intake similar to the Airraid unit. No problem.

I have one on my C6, and talk about rain, I live in Florida which rains all the time, and haven't experience any problems.
