Default QuickJack 5000SLX On Sale At Costco!

Just received an email that the 5000SLX is on sale at Costco for $1100 right now, which is a savings of about $300!

And my Discover card currently has 5% cash back at wholesale clubs, and my Costco Executive membership earns another 2%, which pretty much covers the sales tax. I've been looking to buy one for a few months, and this pushed me to the buying point this evening.

It says that the item could be available in store for even cheaper, I will check that out tomorrow!

It is at limited stores, found this info for availability. I hope they decide to offer it at more stores. Also I think the price in-store is $999.99

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered one. Great price. Now it's time to sell the 6000# scissor lift.

Very cool, I may be in Austin this week so I’ll stop in and see if they are there and let you guys know the price. For $100 difference, I’ll take mine on my front door step though.

Used the link but you have to have a membership to place the order. I opted for delivered as well. Pretty speedy. It is supposed to be here today.

Man, I love this forum. I ordered a 3500 from flea bay turned out to be a piece of junk has to fight the seller to take it all back and full refund. (Still on going case, Flebay customer protection is a joke and I got all messed up because of their no ability to handle anything, spoken to about 7 of them so called customer service, and management team. They have no idea what the hell they are doing)

But now that I got the info here on this forum for a better lift for the same price and delivery free for the same price as the junk that I ordered. How can I go wrong right?

Now can can wait to get the lift in so There can begin on my mods.

Thanks

Anyone done a clutch replacement and exhaust work on one of these? I’m wondering if I would be better off with one of the portable 2 post lifts even though more expensive.

It's a little tight under the car, just depends on if your comfortable under the vehicle or not. If you would tackle the same job with jack stands, then this works fine. You have about 21 inches of space give or take.

Thanks to the OP for posting, just updated to the 5000 for less money than I paid for my 3500!

Due to heavy flooding from Waco to Austin, I wasn’t able to get to that area this week for work to check the price. Mine arrives by mail on Thursday though! Never been so excited to change my oil haha.

Interesting - looking at the pic of the 5-point-slow in the air - I realized that you really doin't have sideways access with this thing in place - you have to roll under from the front or back...

Yup, if you have to work anywhere toward the middle of the car it is very claustrophobic underneath. Anywhere around the wheels is fine.

It looks like it is very high off the ground. Is it?

it is pretty high. It could be another 6 inches to be absolutely perfect, but I can’t think of much you couldn’t do with this. I put on an exhaust last weekend and will change my oil in a week or so with it. Perfect size to store too.

I would not trust it.
I would have to also use jack stands were I to get under the car that was on one of these devices.
