Just heard from State Farm. They say it can be repaired. They didn't give me a dollar amount on the repairs yet, so we will see if it agrees with the Vette shop estimate.

Final update:
It's a confirmed kill. The car is toast. On the up side, the insurance company (after taking out my $1000 deductible) is cutting me a check for exact same amount I paid for the car 3 years and 30,000 miles ago. Can't beat that.
Now on to the next C5....

Man...that sucks. We all love our Vettes...hard to lose it this way. But you made out ok it sounds like and you have the right perspective...on to the next!
