Still kickin myself in the ***. When I bought my z back in 07, I saw the MCM heat extractor carbon fiber hood. The wallet said not now. Then when wallet was ready, after a "few" other mods, MCM was gone. Major bummer nothing close in quality or fit since.
A friend at the track had a high rise one, they were everything you've heard.
I keep dreamin one will show up in the classifieds... I'd be all over it.

Didn't mean to offend those that like them. I'm jus fussy bout my vette, which I drive as well as trackplay here & there.
To me they jus look too much a cheap jc whitney add on.
Track only, ok. function first. But for a street driver too, not on my vette..
To each his own.
Irregardless of the pc b/s goin on lately. I don't shy from sharin my "opinion", like it or not.
& i wasn't dissin anyone that likes / has them, I agree the need is there. I would like to see somethin more better for my car.
I'm fussy bout my Harley too, that's jus me...

I don’t daily drive my car so I watch the weather forecast and attempt to drive it on day that appear to be clear. I do keep a bath towel in the trunk in case of rain. I’ve only had one instance in which I had to park the car at work during a light rainstorm. I used the towel to cover the intake and everything was fine.

that's a license plate holder, you just put a mesh in their, instead of a license plate, and open up behind it
