Might be adding those later this week. I need to confirm my supplier pricing to see how low I can go without losing money.

Best investment I have made for my C5. I can actually see at night now. Stock crap should have been illegal.

Yeah, I did it. The pop-ups are pretty much the only thing I hate about the C5. The car is paid off, and this should prevent me from wanting to buy a C6 for a while. Plus I could use the weight savings since the previous owner swapped in an iron block 6.0. Plus I can sell the old headlights for a decent amount. (practicing the speech I'll have to tell my wife)

Default Bi Xenon on sale

I just ponied up and purchased the Bi Xenon upgrade. Lowest price I've seen at $575 and looks like it' s pretty much plug and play.

I previously purchased the LED upgrade kit for interior and exterior bulbs, including switchbacks and hyperflash harness. I like the kit, it is plug and play as well and it really improved the looks.

The RadioFlyers are a "must have" if you do much night time driving. I have had a chance at a couple of toys for tots events lately to show these to other C5 owners. They are amazed at how well the lights show up in daylight. A night and day difference! (pun intended).

Default Bi Xenon sale price

I'll bet a lot of the Bi Xenons will be sold in the next few days. I just couldn't pass it up.

As soon as I find a reliable source for the re-designed shrouds, I will run a special GP on them.

Looking to buy Bi-Xenon ACA headlights. Should I get high output LED bulb or standard LED bulb is bright enough? Wonder which one people are buying more?

Recently, people are buying the higher-output bulb. The biggest difference between the two is the higher output version has a slightly more focused pattern giving better long-range lighting. The standard LED bulb is almost completely a flood-pattern.

May I offer some friendly advice? Don't sell your "old" pop-up headlights. Why? It is possible, perhaps even likely, that, if you ever decide to sell your car, a potential buyer may want to make the purchase if and only if you can include the pop-ups in the deal. How do I know this? I have refused to purchase a few C5s only because the seller didn't have the pop-ups to include in the deal. I wanted to buy the car and re-install the pop-ups, but when the owner didn't have them, it killed the deal for me. I simply didn't want to waste valuable time (and some money) searching around for pop-ups. Frankly, I wouldn't be caught dead owning or driving a C5 without pop-ups. In my humble opinion, the non-pop-up fixed replacement headlights look goofy and are as ugly as sin. Moreover, the C6 headlights, with their cheap-looking big clear plastic cover, look hideous, and the clear plastic tends to become dull and yellowish as time passes.

Personally, I think pop ups look goofy and ugly as sin. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything against the SLC headlights. The frog eyes are terrible, but these look sleek and modern.

Anyway, the car already has hood vents on it, 135k miles, plenty of small paint defects, and I'm slowly wrapping the interior in leather. Any purists likely wouldn't want my car pop ups or no.

That being said, I may hold onto the stock headlights so I can return to stock before I sell the car, then sell the SLCs separately. I think I usually see them go for ~$600, so really I'm just renting them for a few years for $450.
