I’ve been part of and other times, observed, ‘wheel discussions’ that frequently turn nuclear. I think we should all pat ourselves on the back for finally having a civil discussion about a controversial Corvette/sportscar topic.
There are some beautiful wheels on this thread, and all the cars look great.
My offer still stands with the wheel visualer app I have if you want to see your car or your color car with a variety of wheels that are on the app. All I need is a straight side profile view, with no angles or turned front wheels. It’s usually one of the ‘boring’ pix one takes of their car.
good job folks.

They don't, and it would likely be too tall anyway. The 30 is good.
Check the first post here to get a rough idea of how they would look.

Dark gray wheels have always been the perfect happy medium between black and plain silver painted for me

Just know that with a 2" front lip, you will not be able to fit C6 Z06 brakes, if that was something you were planning. I just ordered a new pair of front 18x9.5 SP500's, with 1" lip, that will fit them.

Those will look really good, Jim. Are you going to stay with that finish, or a custom finish?

Loss ???? Forged wheels are lighter than Factory cast wheels and 3X stronger. My wheels are 7 lb. lighter than Cast wheels of the same size.. Are you serious about noticing a difference? can you tell a difference in acceleration between hauling 15 gallons of fuel vs 13 gallons? I am not trying to be condescending, I understand that not everyone is automotive technically advanced. Its also good to ask question That's how you learn things.. Because I have seen your questions and have answered some in PM, it seems you want to do things that others do, without thee why.. which is fine as long as you know why they chose to do it and what are the trade offs. Everything has trade offs. Also be careful who you listen to ( take advice ) be it here or your local casual friend. .Ive found over my time here that there are lots of people living in the 70's and 80's when it comes to automotive technology.

For you old decrepit , living in the past, guys
If I can draw your attention and memory to the 50's and sixties/ remember when you had to trade your car in " Before it hit 60,000 miles. Back then, and I remember it well. The bench mark for a motor was 60,000 miles. in the 80's it went to 100,000 miles . The C5 was designed to be certified and was the first to be benchmarked at 200,000 miles. All testing was done with that end.in mind. Remember points, plugs and condenser every year? If you raced the car, it was every week. the LSX can go 100,000 without a tune up or a plug change. Your grandfathers Buick Roadmaster weighed in at 2.5 tons and got 10 miles to the gallon. of course gas was 23 cents a gallon. Ive seen it as low as 18 cents a gallon. But the technology has changed dramatically. Bias ply tires got 15,000 miles back then. You had four guys come out to your car ata gas station to give you full service. tire pressure, oil , fuel, cleaned windshield. Those cars were land yachts. I had a 2.5 ton 502 cubic inch Cadillac Eldorado in 74 that got 8 miles to the gallon ( 30 gallon tank ) Times have changed .

Bell Bottoms?
I still have a Nehru Jacket, a pair of box toed blue suede loafers. Kenny is so old, he planted the trees that Noah use to build the ark.
