Default Weld Racing wheels, replace or refinish?

Hey all,

Taking a little poll here. I put these Weld Racing Evo's on my 2001 Magnetic Red convertible about 12 years ago. They are 18x9.5 up front and 20x11 in the rear. I have since become bored with the chrome and have decided I have two options. Strip the chrome and powder coat black, or sell them and buy some factory C6 Z06 or C7 Grand Sport wheels. I am installing my L5 2' rear fenders in a couple of weeks so the wheels are on my mind at the moment. I will be putting some nice new fat rubber on as well.

I agree.. sell them . If you were my son or my brother I would tell you that these wheels at 11 inches wide in the rear will not fill up a 13 inch wide wheel well when you add the 2 inches of flared quarter panel. Do it right. buy New ( correct size wheels for the wide body Quarters.. you dont want to use spacers..

I would sell them and get a set that would be a better match for flared fenders.

Nice looking rims but will look too tiny under the 2" flared fenders. IMO, sell them.
