No automatic (from factory) Z06, it's possible someone converted it for drag strip racing.
Most likely it's a wanna be Z06, a base C5 made to look like one.

Having done an A4 to M6 swap, I can say that changing the transmission is not for the faint of heart. Why anybody would do that to a ZO6 I do not know. I agree with the person above about taking it to a dragstrip but why in the hell would anyone choose that car to go drag racing? It's simply not its strong suit. If they went through that much trouble specifically to take it to the drag strip then I would guess it's had the snot beat out of it.

Not a Z06....not a FRC....can see the curve in the back glass and corvette emblem is too close to glass the distance would be much greater on a Z06 trunk so it's a coupe.....exhaust tips are not Z06.....Z06 emblem is too far back on the front fender...the VIN number will tell

The error was discovered but not before the cars were shipped and eventually sold. None up to now have ever been seen or their wherabouts known. This is an epic find and if original paperwork is included with the car it could be one of the most valuable C5s in existence. Easy to verify by the label on the glove box door. This car should be checked out!

I think (norcolace) he's having fun you guys.
The ad pics show base model exhaust tips, and shows pictures at deceptive angles. It's a standard coupe with Z06 badges. Bet it also has an LS1, 2.73 or 3.15 gears, etc.

It's just a base targa with Z06 emblems that aren't even in the proper position on the fenders that someone is asking way too much money for.
