Default Keep them on Or not

All

I have added the C7 Carbon side skirts on my 99' FRC. In addition, I have also put on the Apsis splash guards. It has been two weeks now ... and I am kind of leaning towards removal of the splash guards. To me, they are starting to look out of place with the side skirts. I'd like to see what this group thinks .... Leave them on with the side skirts or remove them? Either way, the side skirts are staying.

Your choice; I'd remove both, but definitely the guards.

If you decide to sell the splash guards, I might be interested.

Take 'em both off. Those side skirts with the fender guards add nothing to your car and definitely look like silly aftermarket add-ons.

I don’t care for the looks as they are. If painted to match your car, they might Look better.

Not a fan of the splash guards but do like the side skirts.

For looks, not fond of either. For protection, the splash guards will protect your paint, especially with the poke you have, and especially behind the rear wheels. I've thought about them, but not sure I could justify the look.

Based on your photos I like them. Hard to tell in the garage.

Wouldn’t look so out of place with a wide fender and wheel. Those were never aesthetically designed for slab sided cars.

I don't think the front splash guards look good with or without side skirts, but I like the side skirts and rear splash guards.

I have those splash guards on my 99 but the rears only. I have them to hide some of the f14 wheels poke...I think th he fronts are a bit much but not sure if I would remove them because of it as they are already mounted...

I thought it was a C7 and a mis-post...looks good and functional. I would keep them for sure.

Your car, your rules .... but I'm not a fan of that style on the C5. I went with duraflex style with no guards and painted body color. Im guessing many folks wont like them either but I think they look great. Need to get the front splitter on this spring.

never liked the apsis SGs, too big. Takes a little work but the base c6 guards can be made to work if you want to keep a splash guard and are much smaller than those. I would remove those ASAP. Same skirts I will be going with at some point.
