Does it matter where I get my 2002 corvette aligned?

I would probably put this in the wheel/tire or C5 section

It is a very basic alignment. Any tire shop or alignment shop could easily handle it.

(as long as they can get it on the lift... sometimes the alignment lifts/ramps are not as low as they need to be, and the workers sometimes give grief, so a good local recommendation is often helpful. I can't tell where the OP is located - she only put "US" on her profile.)

A 2002 is not a C8.

I was told when I had the Michelin Sports put on back a few years ago they told me the rear wheels had to be aligned also.

The Corvette 1963 to present require a 4 wheel alignment equipment to correctly align you car.

If there is a Corvette club in your area, seek out members and ask for a recommendation on where to take your car.

This is why it's best to go to a shop with Corvette experience.

Not specific to alignments, but I always want to be able to be present when my car is being worked on by someone else, no matter what they are doing. If not, I'll go somewhere else. If you stay out of the way, but watch carefully, you can avoid issues that may damage your car. I was right there when I had my C5 aligned. I was able to answer a few questions for the tech and I learned a lot too.

I am in Contra Costa County. I looked for a local Corvette club and did not find one. If you know of a place that would be good for alignment or if you know how to get a hold of a local Corvette club please let me know
