Default ***Radioflyer's "Luminator" Low-Rise Headlights GP!!***

After working out the kinks, we're proud to announce the re-release of the definitive low-rise headlight solution for the C5 corvette. The Radioflyer "Luminator" Headlight system uses dual Hella 60mm projectors and HID/LED light sources to provide stunning appearance and equally impressive performance. The Lifting arm issues have been remedied by replacing the aluminum components with steel and the shrouds will now be made of cast urethane (same as the front bumper) instead of 3D printing for nice smooth finish and ease of production. (no more 3D print lines)

Low beam: No glare to oncoming traffic

Low beam only (one side)

Low + High beam (one side)

A few questions I'm often often asked:
Q: How does it perform compared to our other headlight systems:
A: The low beam total output is the same, but the pattern is a little narrower and the step a little higher. While there is no "dual-function" projector, the dedicated high beam projector features a 3000 Lumen LED light source that really turns night into daytime.

Q: How do you change the lift of the headlight?
A: The headlight lift is changed by the included lifting arm assembly which has slightly different dimensions from the factory arms. No permanent modifications (drilling/cutting) to your headlights are required

Q: Can the shrouds be painted?
A: Yes, the Shrouds are the same type material as the front bumper and can be painted to match the car or a textured black to mimic the factory ABS look.

The GP price will be a slight discount off the normal price and will last through Valentines Day at which point I will begin ordering the minimum parts needed for this GP.

Just my luck that this was upgraded and re-released right after I purchased and installed your Bi-Xenon ACAs

Will the new design satisfy the "headlight jiggle"? I have the ACAs which jiggle. Thanks

You're not losing out, The Bi-xenon ACA's are An excellent performer and will likely be ready before the first batch of Luminators.

There will likely be a small amount of jiggle due to the nature of flip-up headlights. The steel lifting arm should help though.

email: president@radioflyerinnovations.com. I will have extra shrouds made for previous customers to purchase at a VERY reasonable cost.

I know it would be a pain, but I would really like to see a side-by-side of stock versus low-rise, possibly a mid-install with one light open to stock height and the other at the low rise. I see the low rise height, but without a reference I have trouble visualizing just how low it is.

sure. I took this picture during testing for just such a comparison:

If i recall, there is about a 2.5" total rise difference at the inboard corner.

Stock rise height is 6 3/4 if I remember correctly offhand. I believe radioflyer has his set at 4" when open. It is noticably lower both inside and out. I don't own a set but have been working on my own set that is similar. Those are just measurements I remember off the top of my head, don't quote me on it.

The shop making the shrouds has indicated they needed a little more time than anticipated to prepare the tools to make the shrouds. The first batch of shrouds is scheduled to be finished by the first week of March. Apologies for any delays. I will keep everyone up to date here. Everything else is on schedule.

Update: Shroud master molds have been completed. Urethane casting is underway. Here are photos of the master molds. Notice how smooth they are.

Great news! Just got the first batch of shrouds from the shop and they are AWESOME. They are even more sturdy than factory and unlike previous versions there are absolutely no "print lines". The shop suggested using a primer coat before paint. Customers seeking to paint-match will find the surface already just as smooth as body panels with no sanding needed. (see photos)

I expect all current orders to go out Tomorrow!!!

Order placed for the new shrouds. These look more like the quality I’ve come to expect from your products. I only wish I had waited for these shrouds to be produced before purchasing the luminator low rise light kit. It would have saved me a lot of $$$
