I've decided to upgrade my 99 with a new audio setup this summer. I'll be buying the new center console (Double Din) from VetteNuts, and replacing everything from the head unit to speakers. Recommendations?
- Head until
- Front Speakers
- Rear Speakers
- AMP
-Etc?
The biggest "wants" are MP3 player, SD card reader, USB, rear camera, front camera if it can record, navigation is a "would like", but not necessary.

Damn, I ran to his site hoping to find a discount on his sub enclosure...I like the fact that his enclosure doesn't take up much room, but it's hard to justify $379 for one without a sub, when I can buy an enclosure that fits in the center cubby for $75.
I did buy his 2 din bezel and having it installed with a Pioneer Avic-8400 Nex this Sat.

I'm interested in learning how you accomplished adding Bluetooth to the stock head unit. I saw something on Youtube a while back and need to search for that again. Thanks

I used something similar to this, but older technology...
If you have a convertible you might re-think your options. With the top down I could not see the display at all. Went with a boat single din. Water proof and could read it in bright sunlight

I use the double din Pioneer AVH-4200NEX in my vert with top down all the time without issue.
It has a power screen that tilts and you can adjust brightness.

The first thing would be your budget. personally I like the size of a double din screen I like audible turn by turn navigation and a screen l;arge enough. I like hands free audible phone and texting. It also brings your 20 year old car's interior into the 21 century. I had a guy argue with me that there is no way my car was 20 years old.. his point of argument was that my in dash factory looking navigation screen was not available 20 years ago. You can load all your music right into your phone and have hands free operation via apple car play or andriod auto. I like the upgraded look of a big screen head unit.
