Default Man that felt good

I had the opportunity to take my Vette out yesterday for a nice 40 mile spin.

It had been a few weeks since my last drive and yesterday's time in the saddle was a reaffirmation of all the senses I experienced on that first test drive.

I can look at that gorgeous instrument cluster all day
I'll keep the stock Bose system. CD's are kind of cool. The sound quality is verrry good
I love being in 2nd or 3rd gear and just rolling on the throttle to about 4 grand, the rush of acceleration, the building exhaust note
I can't wait for the weather to break and I can drop the top

For me that felling has never gone away. Even after 21 years of ownership

I did the same thing yesterday and hadn't had mine out for at least a month. I agree with you, it is one heckuva fun car to drive!

Enjoy the Vette but you must have never have heard a quality stereo system to say the stock Bose system "sound quality is verrry good"

I get that feeling approximately 362 days a year.

It's a great feeling, isn't it?

While my Z is not a daily driver, I do enjoy the reunification each time I do get it out. Even more.so when I open it up and "stretch her legs."

Have fun.

Agreed, can't wait to go through the gears and some twistys this spring. Sad to say we are expecting some more snow, ice and miserable weather this week, can't wait for a good rain to wash the salt and sand away.

Default As the snow was mixing with rain!

Definitely the beginning lines in silent vette!
instead of silent night, LMAO!
here in the Midwest winterrrteeee mix is all we been getting! Over the weekend I pulled the cover off to find production code numbers and the re visit what direction im going with the seat covers. I also have a SBC 1971 Vega that I’m making a hit list for! We’re heading in the right direction of spring , it’s just moving slow! And yes I’m jellous of those in 365 days of warmer weather 👍

Yes, and today we got freezing rain. Looks like it going to be awhile before spring comes.

I got the poke. I laugh every time I think of my dad, riding with me in my 70 Cutlass 4 speed, when I was bouncing the tach at 6 grand, commenting that he thought the motor was gonna blow. LOL!

I suppose I like stock stereo's/systems in older cars. And if they work, and sound decent, I'm usually happy. I honestly think the Bose system sounds pretty decent.
