19’s up Front, 20’s in the Rear. Post them up!

Drifting
19x10 fronts with 275 30 19's. 20x12 rears with 345 25 20's. Rims have C6Z06 back spacing. 20mm hubcentric wheel spacers to set wheels flush to the 2" wide rear quarters.

Does not effect active handling. The overall height and diameter of the tire is what can cause issues. If you keep the same overall tire height as stock, no issues at all. Folks that have trouble do not have proper staggered height - front to rear.

Burning Brakes
There is a changable parameter in the ECU to input the tire diameters f/r. This will keep the active handling happy. There is really not that much difference in overall diameter between the front and rear. The factory staggers rim diameters for looks not performance.

Burning Brakes
I would think they would clear. I have the Brembo GT big brake kit and the front rotors are 365 mm (14.37 inches. The stock c6 z front rotors are a little smaller at 13.98. The caliper is really close to the spokes of the wheel though. If there are clearance issues, would most likely be the caliper.
Here is a close up pic and you can see how tight it is.

I guess if you're 'racing' at 100mph down I4 in the construction areas, your mileage may vary and a roll bar is needed. I've out grown that stage of my life.

What does racing have to do with it? I've got a pair of 16" snowflakes from a Camaro for the drag strip. Over a year later and no problems with my sidewalls. Many trips from DeLand to Tampa.

100 miles a hour would not be considered racing speed. I have been over 200 mph.
I hope you continue to have good luck with your tires. I have seen first hand your
combo blow out on the interstate, caused by too small a sidewall.
By the way, I don't need to race on the street. And a rollbar/cage is mandatory at
most sanctioned racing events.
Good luck with your ride.

19x9.0 front, 20x10.5 rear. No issues at all. Handles just fine.

A 19/20 combo is a street set up. But not a good one. I am 70 years old and still race at different tracks.

Short aspect ratio tires aren't any more prone to blowing out, than taller tires. Sorry, they just aren't.

Those look like some nice rims on all those C5s but I personally would never run with the tiny sidewall on a 20" rim here in Iowa, we just have chitty roads and I would guess a pothole could bend a rim.

305/30/19's are a very popular rear sizing and people don't think their sidewall is too short. A 305/30/20 has the same sidewall height.
