Making a dumb decision and receiving well deserved karma.
I got some small fines, but I definitely deserved reckless. Officer was more concerned if I was DUI.

Was it meant to be a spirited u-turn or did you stop yourself from doing more when you saw the cop?
Could've been worse. Good job. Car sounds nice!

Sounds from the fast signal clicking that one or your right turn lights is out. Also, when I read the thread title I expected to see you’d painted your wheels black.

Heh. When I had my notchback 5.0, I used to go out of my way just to make "U-turns."
Never tried it with the Vette. Tires are too expensive. It looks like you had the car fully under control. Just a little right pedal steering.
I'm actually impressed by the precision of the turn!

"I did that once back when I was 16 and blah blah blah bus full of nuns could have died sonny boi you're lucky ole Johnny Law was there to give you a spankin. Back in 1970 they would have spanked me and called my mom, my dad would have showed up and beat me so bad I couldn't sit for a week. I outgrew that childish behavior. Keep it to a track or better yet just park that pretty ole thing in the garage and never drive her, just wax it. Zaino is the best. Use it on everything. I wash my hair with zaino. At 88yrs old can't be too careful"

Gone to traffic court a couple times . reckless pleaded down to " tire tread use of" and exhibition of speed pleads down to "illegal turn" or even better failure to signal then dismissed. No cops at traffic court they only show up for criminal. GLHF

See how annoying it is when someone brings up their opinion you didn't ask for?

That was pretty crazy U-turn precision. The turn radius was super sharp. But yeah, it was a bit wreckless on that narrow downtown street. You are brave for posting that considering all the Internet Police and God complex keyboard warriors that lurk. What's your dash cam? It has great res.
