I am not a fan of it personally.
Some might hate on it being from a cavalier while c6 steering wheels are from cobalts.
Do you like it? The answer is yes. And that is all that matters! So good job bro!

Tough crowd today, eh. Whatever you do, don't tell them it came off a Cavalier. Oops. You already did that.

GM put the "Corvette" across the back in big letters. On a black car, doing red inserts works. I was going to do the same on my silver C5 but it just did not have the right look. IMO, on that black C5 is does look OEM.
As to the people who can't stand the Corvette logo - fill it in, Bondo is your friend.

What ever you do to your car is your right. When you ask for approval you open yourself up for criticism. I don’t know for sure but I would bet most that show disapproval has done things to their cars that some would also criticize. I have done many things to my car, and I will never ask what people think. It’s my car I will do what I like.

Any, including that cover, is flimsy compared to garage the car is parked in front of.
I’ve seen cars after being stored long term under covers, I’m only mentioning so he may strongly consider making room if at all possible now, instead of later once the wear has been assessed. Not being rude.
You by the way, have a habit of making weak little snips against me. I’ll show you rude soon enough, sir. Keep it up. Jmo

Not something I would do, but it's your car so if you're happy, that's what matters.

Would LOVE to be able to keep it garaged but that is, unfortunately, not possible. I live in San Diego so foul weather, for the most part, is not an issue. The car cover is of the very highest quality so, hopefully, it should keep things nice while I own the vehicle.

It's not to my liking...but it isn't my car.
I think that C5s already have too many badges on them My 'vert has the cowboy belt buckle on the hood, the full-size coat of arms on the waterfall, and the dinner plate on the trunk lid. Couple that with the emblems on the wheels, the 'corvette" lettering on the front and rear bumpers, and the flags on the steering wheel...it feels like GM thinks I'm gonna forget what I'm driving.

Obviously, it is your car, so our opinions do not matter. Personally, I much prefer the clean and uncluttered look of having the least amount of badges and emblems as possible. Visually, it just misdirects the eyes of anyone looking at the car. I usually remove excess crap from my vehicles when possible. Or, in some cases, replace the OEM ones with nicer ones. The first thing I did when I bought my C5Z was to remove the rear stainless bumper letters the previous owner installed. Then, I removed the OEM 50th trunk badge. Clean is mean.
