11.5K for a supercharger+meth?
I've been looking around for a shop to install a blower on my H/C/I C5 Z06. A very reputable shop quoted me at 11.5K installed for an A&A S/C w/ 8 rib pulley and alky meth control.
Is this pretty on par with what you supercharged guys paid?

My local reputable shop will install an A&A kit and tune it for about $1,500 on top of the kit. Add in a meth kit and installation and you're still well under $11.5k...
With that being said, Vengeance Racing down the road from me charges about that much for a supercharger install and tune through their packages they offer, but they're at the top of the line.

I was figuring around 10K, which is what some of the other shops were at.

I don't know how much time you have. I shopped around till I found a really good deal on a blower, then I installed it.
If you are paying labor, you can shop that too.
Good luck

pm blownbluez06 (Bret)... he can sell you the parts, install, tune, the whole deal if you're willing to bring your car to tx and probably for less than what you were quoted

Not including meth and just a 6 rib it cost me about 5800 with tune, but I did the install....this does not include supporting mods that I just wanted to do as a precaution...

$11,500??? Seems high to me. There was just a vender on this web site (from Pennsylvania if I recall correctly) that was doing A&A supercharger kits for $6,600 installed. That also included tuning. Meth I would guess would be another $900.

That's what I thought as well. Thought I'd be able to get a heavy duty clutch, meth, and blower for installed and tuned for sub 10K. I still need to shop around more

It's not too bad at all for the a&a kit but I would strongly recommend watching the install videos posted here and on you tube by toysforlife. You will get a clear understanding of what's involved thanks to him. That is what I did and I am 95% done now. I was in no rush and did this as a winter project when the weather cooperated. My supporting mods added to the time but overall not too bad for a diy

At Bubba's Hose Of Blowers and Brisket, maybe.
At any reputable forum tuner/speed shop who knows this stuff inside out (for which there's definite value-add), you're gonna be north of that by about a couple grand or so, give or take. If you have an '04 Z, my understanding is there's extra labor and headache on the fuel system alone.
