Rear control arm bushings
Just wondering what everyone is using when replacing the rear upper and lower bushings. Mine are squeaky and grease didn’t do the trick. I see oem isn’t an option unless you buy the complete arms. Any insight is greatly appreciated. 2002 pro charged street car. No autox so ride quality is important. Thanks brothers.

I went through the dried out bushings phase. You can get aftermarket bushings but a tech told me that they will start squeaking soon so I had him replace the whole arms. Maybe some others who went with the replacement bushings will chime in.

The only options are polyurethane. I’d like to hear what ones people are using. Most of the research I did yields results for companies that no longer exist. Pfadt and vbp

Aftermarket bushings will all increase NVH as they're mostly designed for road course/auto-X use. If the OEM bushings are worn out or torn then you're only option is a new control arm as they're fused in place. The OEM bushings are designed to twist whereas aftermarket poly/delrin/spherical have the arm rotate around the bushing.

I went with Delrin bushings on the front and rear. Definitely increased road feel and response, but also increased NVH, but not to the point where it feels bad. I fact, my car rides better than a new M3 I test drove the other day. I have JoC coil overs and sway bars as well.
