Default Could you haul a spare seat in the C5?

Obscenely stupid question!

I'm buying c6z seats for my C5 this weekend and the seller is a nice drive away, it's an opportunity to get away from the family and go for a rip! I seldom find time to drive it.

So, if I remove my passenger ahead of time, will I fit the two new seats in the Vette? Doesn't seem like it would be problematic...but you never know lol

I can't remember, but I think I have done it. 1 seat at a time in the back, no tracks.

I should've said I have a Z... So would the second seat fit some way on top of the passenger seat?

if either one of the seats are manual you should be able to fold it back and make it fit, removing the base would also help

I'd think its fairly easy to fit both in, put the sitting portion of the seat down into the cargo slot in the middle/back with the back of the seat face down,, sit the other seat upside down with the back going into the floor, get a strap and a towel for the rails sitting in the back of your c5 seat

Good luck if you attempt to do this. Post up pics if you are successful.

I think you will, If you left the passenger seat IN, youd put it forward, and orient the spare seat the correct way and it should fot in easily enough.

If you remove the passenger seat, you can put one further forward than the fitted seat would normally allow, and flip the second one over and fit it in.

Cant think how to describe it properly because Ive been drinking, but I reckon you can!
