Lonestar Corvette Classic 2019
We took our C5 to our first car show, the Lonestar Classic 2019 at Texas Motor Speedway. Show day was a mess, the storms came in and really soaked everything. We still had a great day and took home best in class C5 Show n Shine. We went back on Sunday and did some laps around TMS, that was a lot of fun.
So many killer cars there all weekend, so many thing i want to do now.

C5 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Congrats, Sean. I had planned to attend the event, for quite some time, but the bad weather nixed that idea, for me and many others.

Thank you USAZR1.
This was our first time attending, i heard registration was down, turnout was okay for show n shine. Sunday the weather was great for turning laps.

Thank you
Thank you!
Thank you Jack, I appreciate it.
We really did have a good time, there is a lot to take in with so many corvettes to look at. This was the first time I had driven on the track the banking is tall and the car sticks in the corners, I think the fastest we got was about 100 in the corners and 115 down the straights. With a pace truck and other cars you really can’t fly wide open but there is enough space to push it a little.

Congratulations! It's a very show at a great setting. Don't if it's changed or not but I hated after being there all day Wards were not until very late after dinner served at a banquet. Made for an incredibly long day.

Thank you
Floridasky, thank you, there is still a banquet after the show on Saturday, dinner and awards, they did a good job of speeding it up this year. There was some discussion about how long it has taken in the past and they wanted to make sure to get it in faster.
