4eyec5 low rise headlights... about to install
Not sure if any of you guys have seen this setup yet:
search 4eyec5 on facebook for the link
It's really slick and really affordable. It's 160 bucks for the kit, then you have to buy 160 bucks worth of hella housings. they all bolt in place of the stock unit/housing.
I'm going to try and get mine in tonight. But man, for the $, these seem awesome. and the reports back are that they work great.

Looking at the bracket design, there's going to be a lot of vibration. Even though it's steel, the projectors have enough mass and there is enough distance between the mounting points that there will be substantial movement. This is why our aluminum bracket has reinforcements welded to top and bottom.
Given the feedback here, I will be offering our Luminator kit as a "halogen only" base model with optional HID low beam, LED high beam, Angel eyes and shrouds. This will allow customers to select the prices that are appropriate for them.

The halos you have to add if you want them. I just have the standard hella housings they use. I wasnt going to add them.
I do have the kit to make all 4 light up with high beams though. Although after looking I could have just made that myself lol

Could you post separate pictures, before installing the lights, of the kit and of the additional parts to have a better idea?

Doesn't look like a bad way to DIY a kit on the cheap. If those Hella's have good cutoffs there's probably a good low beam HID you could fit in there too. Got me thinking now......

84 into headlight housings (amazon had them for 42 bucks a pair)
60 into bulbs
160 into the kit
50 into the all 4 kit but apparently you can build your own for 10 bucks with a relay.
So $354 or $310 if you build your own all 4 kit.
the radio flyer low rise are 850 with the LED high beam... I can't speak to the quality difference but the 4 eye kit is way simplified. No bezel. but honestly, I don't think it needs one.
$300 is way easier to stomach than 850... at least to me.

2k2wranglerx, thanks for this thread. Good to see alternatives to lighting. Looks like a great kit for DIYers .
(Also, really like the balanced approach you are taking on your build.)

I've been in contact with them. I think I'm going to piece together a kit myself. Should be ordering tonight probably.

These look like a good option. Is there a web site besides facebook to see the parts needed? I deleted my account with them years ago.

Interesting! How about some info on where to buy a kit for these. This looks like it may be my next project.
Thanks
