Default Base Seat Repair & Recover in Leather

My next project is to tackle the seats in my 1999 C5 Base Coupe. I have a few questions:

1) Can my base seats be changed to Sport Seats? If so, where can I buy Sport Seats ? Will the seats plug and play if swapped out?

2) Has anybody used Corvette America Leather Seat Covers? How are they??

3) Along the outside of the drivers seat the plastic (pictured below) has pulled out tried pushing the connector back in with no luck. Any suggestions on how to repair this? What do I need to purchase to fix it?

Your help is appreciated

Thank You :-)

Tom M

ebay has tons of used seats. I believe they are plug and play but let someone else confirm.

That side plastic part is what it is. You can chase fixing it or just live with it.

If you opt for new leather on any new seats make sure you get the C5 corvette seat fix kit. Comes with extra foam and a cover for the seat base so the foam won't cut through anymore. There are plenty of write ups on that part, just search around

I bought sport seat covers and foam to convert my base seats to look like sport seats, but I did not try to add the air bladders, etc. What I did was pretty straightforward...cannot comment on conversion including the air bladders.
