Sleepy Eye Headlights Installed w/pics
Hi All,
Got around to installing my sleepy eye headlight kit from Corvette Innovationz this weekend. A few observations for those who are interested, the kit is fairly expensive and at least for me, every component in the kit required modification in order to get these to fit properly. If you buy it, be prepared with a dremel, metal files, soldering equipment, and be ready to buy longer stainless steel screws & spacers. Despite all of that, I absolutely LOVE the way these look on the car. I haven't gotten a real chance to test the light output yet, but my initial thoughts are that these are not as bright as an HID setup, but brighter than OEM traditional headlight bulbs. I will provide more information when I've lived with them a little longer!

They sure look cool, but I have always questioned the quality of light output. Subscribed for night photos

The OP's look cool, but those light bars tend to just throw light and not have a good cut off. I'm hoping i'm wrong but every jeep i've run a similar style light bar on has just thrown light everywhere.
OP let us know how they do

So I finally got the headlights adjusted as good as I think they're going to get. I took the car out last night and I think the light output is pretty good. All road signs and reflectors light up very bright. I've run a variety of different headlights over the years. I wouldn't say these are as good as projector HID headlights, but they work better than the OEM headlights in my Jeep so I'm happy with them

I'm assuming no hard cut off line?

Looks good. i always forget what you had done to tye old hood of mine but looks good. I went with the 4eyec5 kit but both do look good. Their is a guy who has the same kit as you around here. Havent seen it at night but im sure its way better then stock.

To be fair, I'm sure they put out more light than the OEM halogens (perhaps at the expense of oncoming traffic)... But having owned, and removed, cheap light bars on my Jeep, I would never run them as headlights (or a sole source of light at night) on a street car. I wouldn't buy anything from the guy that makes these to begin with, but especially for the price he charges people for these things lol.
