Hi guys ,its been sometime time since I've come on board, however this problem with the top to my 99 coupe is so sad.
I've been hearing much about 3M 1080 film. Does anyone have experience using it. Is it hard to apply? Does it scratch easily?
What am I getting into ? I just don't know any other options next to buying a new top and that's not going to happen.
Help me out folks , my car is beautiful accept for the top. I wait your input. Y'all have a great 4th and be safe always.

I had a torch red C5 top wrapped with the 3M 1080 CF film. I did not do it myself but rather had a sign shop do it for me. Turned out great.

Not sure what is bad with your top but you can gone on here or go to YouTube and watch videos on how to refinish. Don't have the courage to do it but. But maybe some day.

If you do a search here for 'My Targa Top Refurbish" you'll see how mine came out. It's really not that difficult to do. I did a google search and found a guy who re-did his acrylic top and figured I could do it too. here's a couple pics.
