Drive it!
Way to go and enjoy,
I just did a more modest 600 mile trip avg 65 mph and 29.4 mpg AC on.
Packed kid, dog, luggage, fishing gear, and my office (3 computers, monitors, keyboard, etc) it all fit.
These cars do it all.

Good for you. Glad to see someone drive and enjoy their car. Seems
like a waste to just look at it and only drive on weekends. Start planning
your next adventure now.

I'm jealous!!!!!!!!!! After spending so many years and miles running solo on a sport touring bikes all about North America just having a hard time into getting my head into 4 wheel travel. But the small trips I do take in the Vette or Truck , getting to love the air condition, staying dry and of course the heat in the winter. Must be an age thing ;-)

Congrats! I just retired May 1st. Drove to Asheville NC and then a couple of weeks later drove to Nashville TN and back. Mine doesn't sit in the garage. Drive it almost everyday.

yes it was a great trip. the vette turned over 70000 miles on the trip. we lost the oil pressure gauge the first week, pegged at 80 lbs. only issue ! oil life even says 30 percent left.

I'm jealous, someday I'll have to retire and do that.
