On an 03 Z06 how do you remove the parking lights?
Im trying to put on acrylic covers on my 03 Z and supposedly its as simple as loosening the lights and snapping them into place. But it looks like a bear to get at them...any pointers?

I had a vert, not a z. But I believe I went in through the brake duct with my hand in there and was able to swap mine. Maybe I'm thinking about the fog lights, but I don't think so. Might help to post a pic of exactly which ones you mean.

assuming you mean the front turn signal assembly, I find it's easier to to remove the headlight bucket then you will have all kinds of room to work on the parking lights, Once you do it one time you can have the headlights out in under 5 minutes

I had to remove the lid and squeeze my arms down to replace the light bulbs...that was as painful as it was miserable. If the brake ducts weren't there i could probably get one loose from thd brake duct hole.

The brake cooling ducts are in the way, I know there is a spring and two screws...i really just need some wiggle room due to how flimsy the bumper cover is.

There are a couple ways. 1) From underneath the car, by dropping the closeout panels. 2) From above, by removing the headlight assemblies.
I have big arms and bear paws, and no lift access at home. So, I went from above and pulled the headlight assemblies. Not difficult, just tedious.

Dropping the close out panels, tho’ annoying unless the car is a decent distance from the floor are actually easier than going from the top. I’ve done work on the headlights on both my C5’s and If I can avoid it I will chose another option.

Good luck I wasn't able to on my 03Z. I went from underneath and removed the access panels. I didn't even bother putting the springs back in place.

3 screws, from underneath. I find it easier to just jack up the front end and pull the bottom plastic panel out. I also did a work-around on the brake ducts. Cut a slot with a cutoff wheel from the side of the brake duct down to the bottom. Bend the panel open and take out the brake duct. Small metal strap with two sheet metal screws to hold the panel together. If you ever have to take out your Emissions Air Pump, You will be glad that you did it. Bulbs become a......No Brainer....

What you are not showing is the brake cooling duct covering everything up. I like my engineering change much better. The ducts WILL push over some..... but they wont come out.
