Calipers powdercoatd and re-kitted, installed with HREs
Hello Forum Members,
I decided to have an old set of calipers powder coated and here is the result.
Very difficult to select the right shade of blue without the car at the shop but I like the results.
Decided to have the brackets and "Corvette" lettering in a shade of 'gunmetal gray' for contrast.
7/26/19 update: Calipers are rebuilt with new seals, baby steps
11/07/20 (I had to document the year): Talking about baby steps .
Complete install with HREs.
Have a great day!

Not sure if I got a good deal on the job or not but they initially wanted north of $600. I respectfully walked out.
The guy calls half hour later with a new quote, it was $315 out the door. It was more than what I wanted to spend but I folded.
After doing some research I think it's the going price for calipers and the details.

Melting Slicks
My 20 year old calipers don’t see much track time. But a reputable powder coated told me c5 calipers are prone to warp. Just wondering if that’s true.
