Default Forgestar CF5 or F14 on C5 Z06

Hello all! I am considering a wheel upgrade on my black 01 Z, and wanted some opinions of those who did these two wheels - what looks better on a C5 Z06? I realize opinions will differ...I love the CF5's but the F14's look similar to the stock Z wheels and that's cool too... I have the C6 Z06 Red Calipers on my Z - so the less spokes on the CF5 would certainly show them off...

Also - what color? Black, Silver... if anyone has pictures, would love to see them and hear sizes and details!

Thank you!

I like the CF5
F14s are nice but a bit played out - very popular on many models for a long time
Look at the CF5V and CF10 as well, I think they go really well with the C5 lines and look 'the business'

good luck!

Both wheels look great on a C5 so it's hard to go wrong, if you like them. My personal preference would be the CF5's but only by the slimmest of margins.
Matte Gunmetal looks really good, against a Black car. The Brushed finish looks even better, IMO, but that's an expensive option.

Only YOU can answer that.

There are a LOT of threads dedicated to wheels, and even some dedicated to strictly Forgestars. Your best bet is to do a quick search using the keywords "Forgestar", then use "F14", then use "CF5". These are very popular wheel choices, so there are many, many pics posted.

I LOVE my CF5's. 18x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear. They were bronze when I bought them.

Are those C6 Z brakes? If so, what are your offsets F/R to clear them, and what size tires?

thanks!

I always wanted the CF5 then found a deal on my F14s from a friend. I love them, but still sometimes want something different. I've grown to like the M14 a lot too, and if I decided to order new that would probably be what I ended up with. That being said, the F14s are still great, just a little over used as already stated

Both of the Forgestars you're looking at are great looking wheels, particularly on a C5. I have the CF5s. All things considered equal between them, the CF5s will take less time to clean.

Here are some f14's in 19"/20"

Personally I think the cf5 look like the stock wheels I had on my c7, and I was not a fan of them. They do look much easier to clean though.

Wow- your car is slammed! I love it, how did you get it that low? I’m sure Coilovers, but that is crazy low! I love it!

You can’t go wrong with either, they both look great. I have a black z with gunmetal f14s so this should give you a good idea

That looks so good - I'm thinking this color would look great with Magnetic Red as well. I like the center caps too.

I have the c6z calipers as well, they still show nicely behind the f14s.
