Is there a market for '98 wagon wheels?
I'm planning to replace my original excellent condition (20k mile) GM wagon wheels. Is there any demand for these or do they go into the shed with all the other stuff that should be discarded...

Stick em in the shed and throw em in 2043. PM me when you get rid of em and I'll throw mine then too.

Mine are stacked in the garage c/w sensors and tires, just as they came off 7 years ago. We either keep them with all the other stuff we should chuck, or they go to the local trash/recycling center. Some years ago there was a thing among VW owners to put them on their cars. They looked better on a GTI than on a C5, IMO.

Come on, Guys! Wagon wheels may not be the favorite. Some folks don't like em, but some folks do. On a good looking C5, they look pretty good.

I have chromed wagons on my '99 black vert and although a minority opinion I think they look pretty good. Those chrome wagons look real nice on your beautiful red C5! Congrats on that 1st place win! Best wishes!

I think the chrome version is pretty decent looking. Mine are the painted version so I made tables out of them.

Your Chrome was look pretty nice but keep in mind we're talking about supply and demand here. There was a bazillion sets of those Wheels installed on C5s so they're not exactly a rare piece.

You won''t get rich off them but someone will buy them from you. I sold a set like 12 yrs ago to a guy who wanted them for his El Camino I think. I'm probably alone here but I like them better than the thin spokes

From what I have heard the VW crowd seems to like them. They also make decent track wheels.

Here's what I did with my wagon wheels and original tires from my '99 FRC.

The chrome ones are nice, the silver ones are kinda boring...I just wish they made chrome ones in 18" for the front and 19" for the rears because there are a lot more tire selections available in those sizes...

I got $500 for a set a few years back. Decent rubber on them, not great, and wheels were in good condition with center caps. VE guys want them. Market them that way, they will sale. Useless to try to sell here, you’d nearly have to give them away.

I've seen some wagon wheels that were refinished in some really nice powdercoating. Strangely enough, it seems the older these cars get, the better those old wheels start to look. That's just my opinion, though.
