Is there an easy to reach spot to grab the tail light wire under the hood? I want to install LED strips in the side vents like I did on my C4.

Depends on what function you want. Do you want it to work with the brake lights or just the tail lights? You can hook up to the front side markers.

I don’t remember the fuse but You should be able to take the power you want right from the fuse block.

Is there a relay there? I just want to add LEDs in the side vents like I did my 92 and have them come on with the tail lights, Sounds kinda cheesy but my 92 looks great with those added.
