maybe try using a big ratchet with a socket on the hex end of the threads and break it free... some heat on the bolt head may help loosen it up from whatever glue or epoxy was used to bond it but I don't know if that would also damage the spring
I had mine stuck on my original and a friend at work said he'd look at it since it was time for me to head home. He stuck the bolt in a vise and used the spring for the leverage. Worked like a charm. You might be able to use a ratchet and socket on the head, put the ratchet in the vise and then turn the spring to break it loose. It might break it out of the spring or strip the bolt head so be ready for that also. Might have to get another spring if it doesn't work. Good luck and use penetrating oil also.
WD-40 is a great lubricant but not so good in breaking bolts loose. Maybe try PB Blaster or something similar. You can get it a local Advance Auto or even Walmart and costs about $6
