we're obviously missing something, why would anyone want to do this? :confused:
I thought a smaller tire (diameter & circumference wise) would let the engine be at a higher RPM. As it is now, I shift into 4th just before the end of the 1/4 mile. I was thinking (OBVIOUSLY flawed!) that by changing rim and tire sizes,
I would get into 4th a bit earlier, and into a bit more of the useable powerband, rather than just getting into the "beginning" it.
I know that if I went to 3.73's I would be doing MUCH more. Mabe I should just order one up and make a trip to Norris Motorsports? :confused:

This is what i think. Just think of how far one revolution gets you with the rear tire, the distance travled would be longer/further than with the front tire so you would have to switch gears sooner but your distance travled will be much shorter, at least that's what i think! :cheers:
