I ordered some dash letters from RPI about three weeks ago. So far, all I've received is a confirmation stating that the order is being processed. Emails and phone calls to check on the order have not been successful. Does anybody know if this is normal in dealing with this company?
From what I've experienced with the few purchases I've had with them it's normal to wait with them. Usually takes about a month or so. I ordered an engine cover from them and it took about 2 months to get that in. Custom stuff usually take between 6 to 8 weeks.

I have ordered a number of things from RPI and yes, it did take a while to get the items. I did get them though and they were just what I had ordered. Try calling when they first open in the morning - that's when I had the most success in reaching them.
Try doing a search in the Transactions Feedback section for more comments on the company.
They're customer service is AWFUL, and their delivery wait times are VERY long. However, you'll eventually get what you ordered. Who knows when though.

I've been an RPI customer for years and sometimes waited a bit longer than I would have thought, but they've always been responsive and have done a great job on custom painted stuff like spoilers, fuel rail covers and the like.
If they don't have an item on the shelf, they're dependent on a supplier to ship to them or to you and in these Covid times it seems everyone's schedule can get twisted.
Call Josh if you really have an issue - -good people IMO.
If you post about this in the transaction forum with no response, you can ask the forum mods to get involved to try to mediate the issue. I found that they will respond via forum PM once the Mods get involved. All other attempts at communication with them will not be answered.

After installing a spoiler from RPI on my C6, I was not happy with the fit around the brake light. It became worse over time and the thin carbon fiber strip started to bow out. I approached RPI at their booth at Carlise this year. Talked to two people. They did not want to see the car but told me to call the next week and they would make it right. Left multiple voice mails to several people there and have received no returns. Sent several emails that included pictures with no response back. Well it’s almost December and this started in August. I do not believe they have a “customer service” department??
Ordered an exhaust plate and after I called and inquired it showed up within a week. Ordered a shorty antenna and it came but did not fit, emailed them and they refunded my money and didn't want the antenna back. So I have mixed feeling about them.
Never do business with them, they also operate under "Corvettemods.com" and "Southerncarparts"
same basic website and software,
same guy answering the phone,
same horrible service.

I knew SCP and RPI were the same... but didn't know about CorvetteMods.
I ordered a part from them and waited a month and half.....nothing. when I called and gave them the order number they said that wasn't one of their numbers. I called again 2 hours later and spoke with a lady who did try to help. Today they canceled my without a reason why.. Not the best way to run a business or retain customers .
Interesting timing on the creation of this thread. I ordered a Corsa x-pipe from PFYC.com on 15 November. A week later, I’d not received tracking info and the online status check said “processing”. A couple of days later, a universal Flowmaster tailpipe kit showed up...from RPI. I’m not sure if PFYC.com is associated with RPI, or merely use their distribution, but the error in what I received is laughable. To PFYC.com’s credit, their customer service was super helpful. But if my x-pipe is again coming from RPI, then I suppose I’ll have to patiently wait for it.
I charged my order on my Amex card and it is showing up on my monthly statement. I think I'm just going to deny the charge since as of today, I've received nothing. They won't get any more business from me.
