Default Brake Fluid

Recently realized I am very much in need of a brake and clutch fluid change but I'm not sure what I should go with. I have a 2001 pro-charged Z06 and I don't track the car but I would like to have a high boiling point brake fluid for when I'm feeling a little risky on public roads, any ideas on what I should go with?

If you're at the point of boiling regular old parts store Valvoline synthetic DOT 3/4 on public roads, you should probably have your license taken away. Works just fine for my clutch and brakes

That's a fair point, maybe going from 0 to 100 then back to 0 again between every stoplight isn't a good idea... lol.

The higher boiling point Dot 4 fluid is compatible with Dot 3 so you don't have to worry about mixing and it's only a couple bucks more. I've also used the ATE typ 200 that jim993 mentioned above, it's good stuff for cheap

Highly recommended. This is the best budget option. You can go to Castrol SRF for max performance, but it's 3x the cost. The ATE is a solid upgrade.

This is what I run in my A&A supercharged '04. I combined this with a Hawk HPS 5.0 pad, and it handles the heat very well.
