2000 C5 radiator replacement and fan woes
Recently I had to replace my the radiator on my C5 and chose to go with an ECP with my stock fans. Given that the new radiator was thicker I knew it would be a tighter fit for the fans but it seemed damn near impossible. Finally got the fans back in from the bottom after much cursing. Seemed much more difficult than some of the DIYs I’ve seen. Are there components in the earlier C5s that are larger and more in the way than later models? Specifically it seemed like the EBCM was noticeably in the way.

I put a Dewitts in a 2003 and one in a 2000. No real difference, tight fit in both. Just recently took the OEM fans out of the 2000 and replaced them with the Dewiits spal fan set. I dropped the sway bar and dropped them out the bottom. Spal fans actually are a bit smaller then the OEM so they went right in
