Tools for C5 Corvette
It’s not in the parking lot, they just call it that, Monday morning I went in and bought over $300.00 of stuff after tax.
Icon tools has 35% off wrenches, and I’m trying to not spend more $$ but their ratchet wrenches with flex heads are very tempting from $199.00 down to $129.99.
I bought their Pittsburgh 5 piece ratcheting flex head wrenches 10 mm 12mm 13mm 14mm 15mm after struggling getting bell housing bolts back in on a automatic transmission C5 in January, they made the job speed way up because it’s such a cramped area, and since then have used them working on other cars and Coleman minibikes.
If Pittsburgh made a full set I would get them.
Icon is supposedly a budget version of Snap On tools, where Pittsburgh is probably more for DIY types both have lifetime warranty.
Already bought Icon professional 14 piece anti slip metric wrenches on another sale, but these ratcheting flex head wrenches are pretty awesome, keep thinking of just getting them.

What other areas on C5 need flex head ratcheting wrenches?
So far bell housing bolts, and rear LS intake bolts under cowl they were excellent.
Also bought mini Icon tool set, at $85.00 regular price it’s crazy, but on this sale this week it’s $59.99, maybe throw it in car for road trip.
Bought the mini tool kit mainly for the mini bikes we go off road riding in the Arizona desert, breakdowns can happen out there and having tools in backpack is good.

I did buy an anvil from Harbor Freight once that I'm pretty happy with. However, I haven't been there since the whole scandal with their jack stands.
