hardwiring V1

Default hardwiring V1
I have parts from V1 but the hard wire harness/plug is long with two ends that have phone jack couplers. I want to hardwire into the rear view mirror power source and saw a post showing how but his hardwire piece was only 6 or 8 inches with two open wires. Do I get this from Valentine or cut the other piece that came with unit?

Yes you can get ti from V1 or you canmake your own, up to you. Mine came with the unit.
