well from what I read thats not rear HP thats crank HP

no mention of SAE either.

if a stock vert makes 350 hp stock adding in 50 non SAE non Rear/ground HP with a vararam dual intake + good headers and LS1edit could be done.

so depends what you call false or misleading

What's strange to me is the dyno sheet from the GTO.

The graph for the GTO is a nitrous run. Nothing else makes power like that. Hell, if anyone could get headers to do that, who wouldn't own them?!?

Man, if I could get 375 HP (I don't care if that isn't BHP/RWHP/etc) out of a Monte SS with headers and a CAI, I'd have a new daily driver.

That site and those claims are weird. But look at the torque spike on the GTO dyno sheet.

I can belive the Blown Monte Carlo if they upped the boost and put on some other minor mods they could reach 375 at the crank, but that GTO post has to be on the juice look at that power spike at 3k.

Which setup are you asking us to comment on? They wouldn't be the only shop with a D1 in the 9's. Sounds like they have some good cars and a fairly nice web page.

Definitely some nice HP numbers on a few of the cars. Don't know if they can do it though.

Yea, I noticed that to. Frankly, if they can't be bothered to mention their phone number much less their location on their website, I can't be bothered trying to finding out..

Well, I can tell you its legit. The owner is a forum member and hell of a nice guy. You may know him as OticZo6. I know him personally, and he did all the work on my Z, thru the dealership and under warranty.

They do the work in Ga.in Marietta and Dynotune at Dynolab in Marietta. My Z went from 356 rwhp approx to 380.6 rwhp on the same dyno, and I have a Dyno sheet I wish I could post.

First thing he would say is races are won on the track not on the Dyno. They do first rate work endorsed by my dealer and sold as shown off the lot. At a premium for those of use that like performance but cant or don't have the skills or time to work on our own cars. No way I would try putting headers on.

He knows his stuff and backs it up, that 9.88 was his run. I can tell you he can drive like hell. We went for a short ride in my Z because I went with the B&B bUllets vs the Stingers he usaully uses, so he could hear the difference. He can shift faster than I could ever, hes a damn good driver.

I would bet that if anyone wanted to take it to the track he would be there, he doesn't just talk the talk the walks the walk.

Anyway, you may question some of the dyno sheets, I don't know enough analize all that, but I will tell you his word is good and so is his Reputation.

Oh, so that is why there is a crazy torque spike. Guess I didn't see that.

The answer is no. A seller is given wide latitude in puffing . I would need a lot of room to explain. Short answer is NO

I can tell you from working with optic that this is not false advertisement. I have two C400HP and one Z450HP sitting at Tom Jumper Chevrolet right now. We are located in Atlanta GA, so anytime you would like to come in for a test drive we will be ready. I am sure that Sean would be more then happy to bring the GTO up there to satisfy your thirst. I can understand how people would think "false advertising" from all the "dyno queens" and "key board tough guys" on this site but we settle all speculation at the track not on the internet from our leather chairs. I am a supporting vender on this site and do not want you to associate false advertising with one of our venders again without some proof. I will give you that Sean did forget the nitrous word at the top of the 410 package of the GTO but he did put it below on the 510 package http://www.moderndaymusclecars.com/gto/index.htm . I guess we all can't be perfect. We are going to Reynolds GA "silverdollar raceway" on Saturday 7/10/2004 with the GTO if you want to see it in person or just click on the video link http://www.moderndaymusclecars.com/g...s/mdmc11.49.rm . Speaking of advertising visit our ad in the Dupont Registry July issue page 159. Thank you and have a great day. I am going to drive my C400HP now.
