I have owned a 1959 Corvette for 7 years. I am considering now on moving on and have my eye on a 2003 anniversery. My 59 is probally one of the best, 270hp, 4sp. Any thoughts on what most of you would do?

If there is any way to keep the 59 and then get the C5, that would be the way to go. Otherwise, tough choice. The '59 will be worth more in the long run.

That depends. If you want to get into enjoying a car by driving it then sell the 59 and go for the C5. The 59 will never give the thrills and enjoyment that a C5 can provide. They handle like pigs, they are underpowered and not as comfortable. However, if you are just into showing off the 59 at car shows and cruise ins then keep the 59 and maybe even pass on the C5 if that is all you are going to do with it since it can't provide any more thrills in that area.

Just went through your same situation recently. Always have been (and still am) a mid year lover. Bought a o4 CE Vert a few months ago and didn't know what to do about my 66 air, coupe which I owned for several years. After driving the C5 for a while, I decided to sell the 66 and have no regrets. While it's nice to have one of each model, unless your into simply looking at them (which is ok), you'll be driving, and enjoying, the C5.
Good Luck with whatever you decide because you can't go wrong in either case.

I agree. I have had both, and in terms of pure driving enjoyment, handling, power, comfort, all of that, the C5 is so superior to the C1, there is just no comparison.
In terms of collectiblity, the 59 has the C5 beat. Show or performance, that's the choice.
